Curious Patience

There’re words which I often tend to misconstrue the meaning of. For example:

Forgiveness: I tend to think that in present moment, there’s nothing to forgive. Because we never carry past, instead always live in present. My friend Patrick explained to me that, Jesus said, “Forgive them for they not know what they do”. Jesus did not say “for what they did”. Essentially therefore, He was forgiving the present moment.

Patience: I tend to think that it’s something to do with future. As waiting for certain outcome. Not always. Choosing to stay back, restraining to follow my thoughts/ instincts/ biases, and doing nothing, is also patience. Patience in the present moment. Patience for the present moment! It means nonreaction.

Curiosity: I may tend to think that it is desire to learn/ know about something (in future). It points to certain incompleteness, in future. It goes against Contentedness. However, I feel, curiosity could be about present moment too! We are “awed” while watching His Lila, in the present moment. This awe, is about experiencing the unusually interesting present moment. This is also called curiosity.

Being curious (in wonderment) about present moment and yet being patient in reacting to what is happening. Curiosity about what is coming in (for me) and Patience about what is coming out (from me)! This is Curious Patience.

Are there any other words you think, that are likely to be misconstrued?
