Necklace

Poet Saint Kabir says:

Anjan means Maya, the illusion. Whereas Niranjan means Absolute Reality.

Dictionary says, a perceptron means a computer model devised to represent or simulate the ability of the brain to recognize and discriminate. Perceptron is a binary model which assigns a sign to discriminate what is from what is not.

We use our sense perceptions to build our own perceptron to precisely discriminate the reality from illusion.

A beautiful story of Lord Hanuman tries to explain this. Sita gives her necklace as a gift to Hanuman. He examines every diamond and after examination, throws it away one by one. Seeing this, infuriated Sita asks him to explain why he broke and threw away her necklace. Hanuman explains, there’s no Ram in this necklace. And when asked to prove whether there’s Ram in Hanuman’s heart, he tears his chest to show the Triplet of Ram, Lakshman and Janaki in his heart!

The necklace is this World gifted to us or “present”ed before us. Diamonds are the phenomena, dimensions or inputs to the model, as perceived by our sense perceptions. All inputs along with the necklace are like Anjan!

Perceptron is Hanuman’s model. And Lord Ram is beyond the sense perceptions!

Even Vedas, in quest of explaining His Nature, failed miserably to do so, in their attempts.

Still, our fondness with Learning and Modeling continues! Our fondness with explaining the necklace, with the diamonds! Awesome!
